 Bill
graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia in 1958 receiving
his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy and has been the driving
force behind Hazle Drugs Inc. since 1960.
As an independent community Pharmacist for almost 50 years, Bill has
maintained his focus on compounding despite the trend over the years
toward manufactured and pre packaged products. Bill has compounded
many medications that were refused by other pharmacies, because they
did not have the chemicals and equipment to prepare customized medications.
Being a veteran at compounding, Bill specializes
in all aspects of customized medications including Dermatology,
Anti Aging and Dental preparations.
Bill takes continuing education courses and attends
special seminars designed to keep him up-to-date with new developments
and techniques in the field of specialty compounding.
He is a member of the Luzerne County Pharmacists
Association, Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association, American Homeopathic
Pharmacist Association, American Society of Natural Pharmacists
and, Professional Compounding Center of America (PCCA).
Bill is also very active in the community. He
serves on numerous boards of local organizations and is on the advisory
board of KNBT Bank. He also has served on his local Board of Health
for over 30 years.
