Lori Ann Gormley, BS R.Ph., CME
Lori is a licensed registered pharmacist and a staff
member of Hazle Compounding. Upon graduation from Tamaqua Area High
School, she attended the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science
(PCP&S) now known as the University of the Sciences of Philadelphia
(USP). Lori earned a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy in 1996.
She has been an integral part of our staff starting as a pharmacy
intern in 1994 and employed as a pharmacist since graduation.
Because of her keen interest in Natural Hormone issues, Lori was
compelled to further her education in woman’s health specializing
in the area of Natural Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy.
She received her certification in 2001 as a Certified Menopause
Educator through the National Menopause Certification Council. Lori
also provides private Menopause Consultations by appointment, for
women with hormone related issues.
She also lectures to many professional and patient groups regarding
the use of Bio Identical Hormones. Lori is also the facilitator
for our Menopause Support Group which meets regularly to discuss
the transition from the reproductive years through menopause.
Lori has received extensive training in compounding and is very
experienced in all aspects including natural bio-identical hormone
replacement therapy for women and men, veterinary and alternative
compounded products.
Lori takes continuing education courses and attends special seminars
designed to keep her up-to-date with new developments and techniques
in the field of specialty compounding.
Lori’s professional memberships include: Professsional Compounding
Centers of America (PCCA); International Academy of Compounding
Pharmacists (IACP); North American Menopause Society (NAMS); American
Pharmacist Association (APhA); Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association
(PPA); and the Schuylkill County Pharmacists Association.
